HCCC kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Herkimer County Community College campus was taken over by hundreds of participants in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Sept. 29. This marked the second year HCCC has sponsored and hosted the outdoor walk. Faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members came out to support the American Cancer Society’s efforts to conduct life saving research, prevention, early detection and search for a cure.
