The Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights lost the opening game at home Wednesday but came back to beat Herkimer’s Magicians in four.
Playing from behind, the Maroon Knights won 19-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21.
Jamie Juliano had 14 assists, one ace, one kill and four digs for Frankfort-Schuyler (6-7, 2-5 CSC-II); Brianna Manzo had four kills, three aces, five assists and nine digs; Alyssa Unsinn had 13 digs, six kills, two aces and one assist; Brittany Janis had eight kills, one block, two aces and two digs; Jannelle Pyle had 12 digs, four aces and three kills; Ashley Davis had 12 digs; Marina Skorina had four kills, one ace and four digs; and Mindy Murdock had four digs and one assist.
Caitlin Roorda had five kills, one ace, one assist and six digs for Herkimer (3-9, 1-5 CSC-II); Jami Peters had five assists, one kill and four digs; and Krista Green had four digs, two kills and one ace.
Frankfort-Schuyler pays at home again Friday against Mt. Markham. The Maroon Knights host their annual tournament Saturday with herkimer scheduled to compete.
