The Central New York Chapter of The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame will honor high school football players from across Section III at Sunday’s 13th annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Dinner at the Turning Stone Casino and Resort.
Seniors from over 60 high school football teams each receive a $500 scholarship from the foundation.
Several players from Central New York colleges also will be honored, including Ithaca College senior running back Clay Ardoin of Dolgeville. Ardoin, who is majoring in clinical health studies, recently earned All-District First Team honors from the Co-SIDA Academic All-American Program. He led Ithaca with 1,038 yards rushing.

Matt Wheelock, Sauquoit Valley
