The undefeated Herkimer County Community College Generals clinched the Mountain Valley Conference’s 2012 title Thursday with a 5-0 win at SUNY-Delhi.
The Generals (13-0-0) led 1-0 at halftime and added four goals in the second half as they ran their record in conference play to 7-0-0.
Jordan Stoddart, Region III’s reigning Male Athlete of the Week, scored two goals and assisted on a third for Herkimer. Brian Coyt, James Wilson and Aegeus Ruddock each scored a goal while Korab Syla had two assists and Jimmy Calderon and Adam Kozecke each had one.
Triston Henry made two saves and Erik Szczerba had one as they combined on a shutout for the Generals.
Goalkeeper Erba Zack made three saves for Delhi (3-9-0).
The Generals travel to New Jersey Saturday to take on Division I Mercer County Community College.
