RICHFIELD SPRINGS 1, MILFORD 1, tie

The Richfield Springs Indians scored a last-minute goal Wednesday and earned a 1-1 tie against Milford.

Joe Kelly scored for the Indians with 14 seconds remaining in regulation play. Shawn Miller assisted.

Milford had led 1-0 since Peyton Griffith scored in the middle of the first half.

Richfield Springs goalkeeper Ben Smith recorded 16 saves while Parker Fish had four for Milford.

The Indians play at Schenevus Saturday at 1 p.m. following an 11 a.m. match between the schools’ varsity girls.

MOHAWK 2, CANASTOTA 1

MOHAWK, N.Y. — The Mohawk Mohicans defeated Canastota for the third time Thursday when they won 2-1 at home.

The Mohicans beat the Raiders by the same score Oct. 5. They were 7-0 winners in Canastota in September.

Brian Guido and Adam LaPorte scored goals for Mohawk and Peter Fleming had an assist. Connor Shultz made 11 saves.

Alex Wilcox scored a goal and James Kimble made 11 saves for Canastota.

Mohawk takes on Frankfort-Schuyler at home Tuesday.
