FRANKFORT-SCHUYLER 2, DOLGEVILLE 1

The Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights scored first Thursday on their way to a 2-1 win over the Dolgeville Blue Devils.

The Maroon Knights (5-9-0, 3-6-0 CSC-II) led 1-0 at halftime on a goal scored by Olivia Tamburro. Sara Testa took a free kick from 40 yards out and put the ball in front of the net where Tamburro chipped it into the net.

Alexis Bianchi added a goal assisted by Kristy Wallace for the Maroon Knights in the second half.

Ashley Mettler had an unassisted goal for Dolgeville (3-8-2, 1-5-2 CSC-II).

Cassandra Grippe made 11 saves for Frankfort-Schuyler while Abigail Mosenthin had 10 for Dolgeville.

Both teams play at home Monday, Dolgeville against West Canada Valley and Frankfort-Schuyler against Mohawk.

HERKIMER 0, MOHAWK 0, tie

EAST HERKIMER, N.Y. — The Herkimer Magicians and Mohawk Mohicans played a scoreless overtime draw Thursday.

Herkimer had a 9-6 edge in shots in the first half but Mohawk outshot the Magicians 15-3 the rest of the way.

Chelsea Jory made 12 saves for the Magicians (5-6-3, 3-4-2 CSC-II), including a stop near the left post with 90 seconds left in the first overtime period. Alicia Ceneviva made six saves for Mohawk (4-5-5, 2-3-4 CSC-II).

The Mohicans, who have tied their last three matches, play at Frankfort-Schuyler Monday. Herkimer travels to Little Falls Monday.

WEST CANADA VALLEY 1, LITTLE FALLS 0

NEWPORT, N.Y. — Alexis Fauvelle scored an unassisted goal in the first half Thursday and the West Canada Valley Indians moved one win away from a perfect finish in Division II of the Center State Conference with a 1-0 shutout of the Little Falls Mounties.

Courtney Phillips made five saves in the shutout for the Indians (12-2-0, 9-0-0 CSC-II) who have clinched a league title.

Ashley Giaquinto made 13 saves for Little Falls (5-5-2, 3-3-2 CSC-II).

The Mounties travel to Waterville Saturday to play the rescheduled Brothertown Optimist Tournament championship match against the host school at 3 p.m. West Canada Valley completes league play Monday with a trip to Dolgeville.

MT. MARKHAM 2, SAUQUOIT VALLEY 1

WEST WINFIELD, N.Y. — The Mt. Markham Mustangs snapped a 10-match Sauquoit Valley win streak Thursday with a 2-1 victory over the Indians.

Emily Ward converted twice on penalty kicks for the Mustangs (4-8-2, 2-6-1 CSC-III) who were shut out 2-0 when the teams met earlier in the season. Angela Bartlett turned in a 22-save performance between the pipes for Mt. Markham in the rematch.

Elisa Marchione scored for Sauquoit Valley (10-2-0, 8-1-0 CSC-III) which had not been beaten since its opening match against Clinton and suffered its first loss in league play. Alyson Gaffney had four saves.

ILION 3, SHERBURNE-EARLVILLE 1

ILION, N.Y. — Teigha Ward and Nicole Doolen each had a goal and an assist for Ilion Thursday in the Golden Bombers’ 3-1 win over the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders.

The third goal for Ilion (7-5-0, 5-4-0 CSC-I) was an own goal which went into the net off a Marauder.

Jordan Van Althuis scored for Sherburne-Earlville (7-8-0, 4-5-0 CSC-I).

Taylor Moquin made eight saves for Ilion and Maddy Fetzko had 10 for Sherburne-Earlville.

The Golden Bombers play at home Monday against Clinton.
