Christy Traglia smacked two home runs as the Mohicans pulled away late to beat Frankfort-Schuyler 14-8 in a Center State Conference Division I softball game Friday afternoon.
Traglia finished with three hits on the day and drove in five runs and Calli Wiggins had two hits with two runs and two RBI. Kaylee Luppino also had two hits for the Mohicans.
Mohawk (4-4, 6-6) led 6-4 before it scored four times each in the fifth and sixth innings. The Mohicans finished with nine hits on the day.
Alex Kryshchuk allowed five hits with six strikeouts and seven walks to pick up the win for Mohawk.
Frankfort (0-8, 2-14) which led 3-0 after the first inning got two hits and run scored from Lacee Barton and a hit and an RBI from Gina Marcantonio.
Alyssa Percolla took the loss as she struck out one an walked 10. She was relieved in the third inning by Ashley Van Court before returning in the fifth and finishing the game.
