The Little Falls Mounties took three games from Canastota Friday and swept their first match of the season.
The Mounties won 25-9, 25-16, 25-16 at home.
Mat Armlin had eight kills and three blocks for Little Falls (1-0); Kyle Barnes served three aces with three assists; Vinny Visconti had five assists, one kill and one ace; Michael Izzo had two blocks, a kill and an ace; and David Stephenson and Mitchell Smith each had one kill.
Avery Brennen had eight kills and four digs for Canastota (0-1); Elijah Cary had four kills, an assist and three digs; Josh Whaley had three kills, two aces and two digs; Brandon Pickard had four assists, two aces, a kill and three digs; Connor Hanaver had five assists, a kill and a dig; and Michael McDermott and Alex Truax each had one kill.
The Mounties next play Tuesday at Westmoreland.
