Ilion continued its torrid play on its home course as it beat Herkimer 158-187 in a Center State Conference East golf match at Doty’s Golf Course.
One match after its top four golfers shot 43 or better, the Golden Bombers did even better this time around.
All four Ilion qualifying scores were 40 or better as Patrick Bergin led the way with a 38.
Dan North, Dan Reese and Nick Jones all came in with 40 as Ilion (7-2, 8-2) shot its lowest round of the season.
Herkimer played solidly as well as all four Magicians broke 50.
Nick DeJong led the way with a 44. He was followed by Teddy Borek with a 47, Jesse Licari with a 47 and Ryan Newman with a 49.
Herkimer fell to 2-4 on the season.
