The Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights spotted Clinton two games Saturday before rallying to win 3-2 at home.
The Maroon Knights broke away from a 15-all tie in the fifth game to close out the 23-25, 21-25, 25-11, 25-17, 25-21 victory. Jamie Juliano served nine points in a row to take the Maroon Knights to match point and Frankfort-Schuyler sided out to end it.
Brianna Manzo served seven aces with 10 assists, two kills and five digs for Frankfort Schuyler (2-1); Mindy Murdock served seven aces, six assists and two digs; Alyssa Unsinn had six kills, two aces and 10 digs; and Brittany Janis had eight kills, two blocks, five aces, two assists and three digs.
Maggin Billiter had 14 kills and four digs for Clinton (0-1); Jordan Provost had nine kills; Samantha Malak had 11 assists, two kills, two aces and four digs; and Rachel Evans had four assists, one ace and one dig.
Frankfort-Schuyler plays at Herkimer Monday.
