Mohawk scored 11 times in its final two at-bats to pull rally to a 17-8 win over West Canada Valley in a Center State Conference girls softball crossover game Tuesday afternoon.
SOFTBALL
It was the third straight win for the Mohicans (4-4) and the second win over the Indians in four days after beating them 25-3 in the consolation game of Saturday’s Frankfort-Schuyler Tournament.
Mohawk trailed 8-6 entering the sixth inning before scoring six runs. The Mohicans then added five more runs in the seventh as it took advantage of 14 walks from West Canada pitching.
Kelly Herlehy did a fine job in relief of Mohawk starter Alex Kryshchuk after relieving her in the third inning. Herlehy got out of the third when West Canada scored five runs then pitched four more shutout innings to pick up the win.
Kryshchuk had two hits for the Mohicans and Christy Traglia scored three runs.
Megan Louis had two hits for West Canada.

FRANKFORT — Alyssa Balfe had three hits and drove in a pair of runs as Oriskany beat the Maroon Knights in a CSC crossover game.
Oriskany (6-0) raced to an 8-0 lead after 2 1/2 innings and pounded out 11 hits to beat Frankfort for the second time this season.
Mallory Ingalls added two hits, with a triple, scored two runs and also drove in two and Kile Washni had two hits with two runs scored an an RBI. Kelsey Buckingham and Nicole Buehler also had two hits apiece with Buehler’s both being triples.
Buehler and Colleen Foose had two RBIs apice.
Meghan Carlo pitched the first four innings striking out five and walking 11 to pick up the win. Ingalls relieved in the fifth inning to close things out.
Alyssa Percola took the loss for the Maroon Knights (2-9), as she was knocked out in the first inning. Alyssa Burke went the rest of the way allowing 11 hits and striking out two.
Tayla Giacovelli, Francesca DeLuke, Erika DeLuke and Gina Marcantoni each had a hit for Frankfort with Giacovelli driving in two runs and also scoring two.

POLAND — Poland scored 11 times in the third inning to stay unbeaten on the season with a CSC Division IV win over the Redwings.
The Tornadoes (2-0, 7-0) trailed 4-3 before they broke the game open.
Poland finished with 12 hits in the game led by Erin Batson and Mandy Weakley, who had two each. Both of Batson’s hits were doubles, while Weakley and Lexi Schreppel also doubled for the Tornadoes.
Weakley went the first four innings to pick up the win. Batson came on in the fifth and finished.

WEST WINFIELD — Edmeston rallied from and early 13-2 deficit to defeat the Mustangs in a wild non-league game.
The Panthers got back into the game with a six-run fifth then scored three times in each of their last three at-bats to pull out th win.
Tori Roberts homered for Mount Markham and Courtney Holtham had a triple. Jamie Lincourt had two hits and three RBIs and Roberts also drove in three runs.
