With three players playing in their final regular season home game for the Frankfort-Schuyler nights on Wednesday, the Knights took care of business and beat the Herkimer Magicians 3-0.
Frankfort-Schuyler (10-6) had seniors Jessica Briggs, Megan Maneen and Stephanie Perri play well in the win. Briggs had one ace, six assists and two digs; Maneen had two aces, two kills and seven digs; and Perri had one ace and five digs.
Their contributions helped Frankfort-Schuyler beat Herkimer by at least four points in every match. Frankfort-Schuyler won game one by 12 (25-13), game two by seven (25-18) and game three by four (25-21).
The Knights other players that helped them win their final home game was Leea Tripple, Mariah Walker, Elaina Zito and Kali Streeter. Tripple had seven aces, two kills and 10 digs; Walker had six aces, four kills and eight digs; Zito had five kills and four digs; and Streeter had two aces, five assists and four digs.
In the loss, Herkimer had Kaylyn Woodrick, Mary View and Jessica Swieton play well. Woodrick finished with two kills, two assists and six digs. View finished with one kill, four assists and six digs. And Swieton finished with four kills, three digs and two aces.
Frankfort-Schuyler and Herkimer have no more regular season games this season.
