Ilion, N.Y. —
An Ilion man was arrested on Dec. 13 on charges that included third-degree rape after a month-long investigation by Ilion police.
Cameron N. Christian, Sr., 24, of 93 Otsego St., was also charged with third-degree criminal sexual act, endangering the welfare of a child and sixth-degree conspiracy.
He was arraigned in Ilion Village Court and was committed to the Herkimer County jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond.
Also arrested in the investigation were two 17-year-old females from Little Falls.
One was charged with making a punishable false written statement and sixth-degree conspiracy. The other was charged with sixth-degree conspiracy. Both were arraigned in village court and were committed to the Herkimer County jail on $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.
