  • A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual or people responsible for last month’s vandalism incident at Russell Park.
    An anonymous donor has provided the village with $1,000 to offer as a reward, according to Ilion Police Chief Timothy Parisi. Anyone with credible information is asked to contact Ilion police at (315) 894-9911.
    The vandalism at the park’s Lower Pavilion Building was discovered and reported to the Ilion Police Department March 27. Police reported that the vandal or vandals had spray-painted writing all over the building and burned a picnic table.
    Ilion police continue to investigate the incident.
