  • Pearl L. Miller, 73, of Pine Bush Road, passed away of a broken heart on April 16, 2013, at Bassett Health Care in Cooperstown.

  • Pearl L. Miller, 73, of Pine Bush Road, passed away of a broken heart on April 16, 2013, at Bassett Health Care in Cooperstown.
    She was born on May 24, 1939, in Mohawk, daughter of the late George Homer and Lottie (Levina) Garlock. Pearl worked as an inspector for MDS Computers in East Herkimer.
    Survivors include her daughters, Janet Miller, of Mohawk, Sandra Fikes, of Mohawk, Kathy Manno and her husband, Dave, of Ilion, Georgia Willsey, of Mohawk; her sons, Richard Miller, of Mohawk, and Stanley Miller and his wife, Jackie, of Burnt Hills; her 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her sister, Ruby; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Ronald J. Miller; her sister, Marion; and her brothers, Bob and John.
    The family will receive relatives and friends from 4  to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., Ilion. A religious service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with the Rev. Robert Wollaber officiating. Burial will take place on May 7, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Mohawk Cemetery Annex, where she will be laid to rest alongside her son, Ronald, and her brother, Bob. Burial for her son, Ronald, will also take place at this time.
    In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pearl's daughter, Sandra, to help defray some of the costs of the funeral.
