Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
What I enjoy most about field hockey is the intensity. I also love how bonded our team is every year. We aren’t just a team, but a huge field hockey family.
What is your most memorable athletic moment?
My most memorable athletic moment was during my junior year in sectionals for field hockey. It was a close game and the other team was about to score. The ball had gotten by the goalie but I was there to stop it and got a defensive save which was very exciting.
Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.
Someone who inspires me in sports is my coach, Mrs. (Monica) Tooley. She is always pushing me to play my hardest and giving me tips to become better which really inspires me to do my best and never give up.
What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
The greatest challenge balancing academics and sports is finding the time to give both 100% of my best effort. It’s always very challenging to get home late from a game and then have to do my homework and focus and put in my best effort.
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
After graduating from high school, I plan on attending HCCC to major in education and then from there transferring to Utica College.
