Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
I like track because it is an individual sport. I like the feeling that I am the only one who can make myself better.
What is your most memorable athletic moment?
My most memorable moment was when I broke the 100-meter dash record, which was my eighth school record!
Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.
Usain Bolt inspires me. In order to be the fastest man in the world, you must display a great work ethic, which is essential for life in general.
What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
The biggest challenge is finding (making) time for homework and studying, as well as practice and work out in the gym.
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
I am planning to attend HCCC this fall, majoring in General Studies, and playing track. I haven’t decided yet what my career goals are, but I will probably pursue a career in the sciences area.
