    Mike Santillo struck out 11 batters from the mound and cracked three doubles at the plate for Mohawk Monday in the Mohicans’ 5-3 win over the Dolgeville Blue Devils.

    Mike Santillo struck out 11 batters from the mound and cracked three doubles at the plate for Mohawk Monday in the Mohicans’ 5-3 win over the Dolgeville Blue Devils.
    Santillo had struck out 13 batters and allowed four hits when the Mohicans were beaten 8-6 in Dolgeville April 23.
    Neither team had more than one run in any inning and Mohawk took the lead for good when it scored and broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the third. The Mohicans held leads of 4-1 and 5-2.

    ILION, N.Y. — The canastota Raiders scored four runs in the top of the first inning Monday and defeated Ilion’s Golden Bombers 6-3.
    Anthony Sicilia struck out 12 batters and pitched a four-hitter for Canastota (4-6, 4-5 CSC-I) which defeated Ilion for the second time this spring.
    Bryan Bennett struck out 10 batters and allowed two earned runs on four hits for Ilion (0-12, 0-10 CSC-I).
    Cameron Taylor had two hits for Ilion while Matt Klosner and James Fedor each had an RBI-single.
