    The Little Falls Mounties won Friday’s opening game but Herkimer took the next three and the Magicians scored a 23-25, 25-15, 25-23, 27-25 victory at home.
    Caitlin  Roorda had 10 kills, two blocks, an ace and four digs for Herkimer (2-5, 1-3 CSC-II); Emily  Guzewich had seven kills, one block, one ace and four digs; Angela Ward had five assists and three digs; and Jamie  Peters had six assists, a kill, an ace and five digs.
    Kaleigh Warn had 14 kills, five aces, two assists, three digs for Little Falls (2-6, 1-3 CSC-II); Tess Krowicki had 12 kills, doubling her previous career-high, and added six digs and an ace; Erin Noyes had 17 assists, two aces, a kill and three digs; and Liz Bruins had a career-high nine kills and served an ace with three digs; Diana Torres had 13 assists; Laura Krowicki had four kills; Kyrah Jackson had three digs and an ace; Paige Horender had seven digs and a kill; and Lindsey Tolman had one kill. Krowicki and Bruins each had six kills against New York Mills earlier this season.
    Herkimer was a 25-14, 25-11 junior varsity winner.
    Herkimer hosts a tournament Saturday. Little Falls has a match Monday in Cooperstown.
    MOHAWK 3, FRANKFORT-SCHUYLER 0
    FRANKFORT, N.Y. — The Mohawk Mohicans swept to a 25-19, 25-13, 25-14 victory Friday at Frankfort-Schuyler.
    Noel Newkirk had five aces, four kills, four assists and two digs for Mohawk (3-5); Megan Connor had five aces, a kill, two blocks, an assist and a dig; Cassidy Babcock had two aces, a kill and a dig; Alicia Ceneviva served two aces with two kills and a dig; and Amanda Dahl had three kills.
    Marina Martin had five kills and four digs for Frankfort-Schuyler (3-5); Brianna Manzo had seven assists, four aces and a dig; Alyssa Unsinn had four kills and 11 digs; and Jamie Juliano had eight assists, two kills and three digs.
    Frankfort-Schuyler is entered in Herkimer’s tournament Saturday. Mohawk takes on Mt. Markham Monday in West Winfield.
    CLINTON 3, ILION 0
    CLINTON, N.Y. — The Clinton Warriors notched their first win of the season Friday by sweeping three games from Ilion’s Golden Bombers.
    The Warriors won 25-22, 25-14, 25-18 on their home court.
    Nickee Thibault served five aces for Ilion (0-6) with seven assists and a dig; Hailey Manley had four kills and two blocks; Kacey Visser had four kills, two blocks and an ace; and Lynnsey Buckley had seven digs and an ace.
    Maggie Billiter had 10 kills and two digs for Clinton (1-6); Jordan Provost had 10 kills; Rachel Evans had five aces, five assists, two kills and three digs; Samantha Malak had seven assists, an ace and five digs; Abbey Rogan had three aces and two digs; Currey Nelson had two aces and five digs; Maggie Shaw had two aces, a kill and three digs; Mae Dinh had seven digs; Sophia Atik had two kills and three digs; and Herika Fernandez had one dig.
