    The Cooperstown Redskins notched their first win of the season Wednesday when they swept three games on the road form the Little Falls Mounties.
    The Redskins won by scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-17.                 
    Katie Booan had 20 assists and three kills for Cooperstown (1-1); Caroline Leonard had eight kills, two blocks and an ace; Katie Frank had served three aces with four kills and one assist; and Jennifer Snyder served two aces.
    Kaleigh Warn had seven aces, six kills and three digs for Little Falls (0-2); Tess Krowicki had four kills and four digs; Kristen Hebert and Laura Krowicki each had three kills; Erin Noyes had one kill and eight assists; Liz Bruins had two kills; Diana Torres had three assists; Paige Horender had eight digs; and Lindsey Tolman had one kill.
    Cooperstown was a 27-25, 25-12 winner in junior varsity play. Brooke Walrath had three kills and an ace for the junior varsity Mounties.
    Little Falls’ next varsity match is Wednesday at Mohawk.

    NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. — The New York Mills Marauders swept three games from Oppenheim-Ephratah Wednesday as they Division IV play in the Center State Conference  with a 25-10, 25-14, 25-17 victory over the Hawks.
    MacKenzie Lyons had seven kills, one assist and eight digs for New York Mills (2-0, 1-0 CSC-IV); Marissa Cavanaugh had six kills, two blocks, three aces and seven digs; Sara Hamblin had six kills, four aces and seven digs; Jenna Hamblin had 11 assists, three kills, an ace and eight digs; Rachael Ellsworth had 10 assists, an ace and a dig; Elaina Pacini had two blocks, two kills and an ace; Emily Bascom had two digs and a kill; and Abby Sprague had a kill and a dig.
    Shelby McCumber had seven kills and two digs for the Hawks (1-2, 0-1 CSC-IV); Ashley Hill had 12 assists, 11 digs and a kill; and Hannah Taylor had 12 digs.
    Oppenheim-Ephratah plays a crossover match on the road Friday at Cooperstown.
