  • Pauline M.  Golicki, 89, of Baring, Maine, formerly of Herkimer, was welcomed home to the open arms of the Lord on June 13, 2013.

  • Pauline M.  Golicki, 89, of Baring, Maine, formerly of Herkimer, was welcomed home to the open arms of the Lord on June 13, 2013.
    Born in Little Falls on Sept. 9, 1923, daughter of Edward and Anna Kolkowski Mazurski, she graduated from Little Falls High School with the Class of 1940. On May 17, 1947, she married Stephen Golicki. Pauline worked for Herkimer Memorial Hospital as an LPN for over 30 years. She moved to Baring, Maine, and worked as a nurse at the Calais Home and Atlantic Rehabilitation Center.
    She was predeceased by two sisters, Blanche Sagatis and Stella Ciano, and son-in-law, Joseph Leone. Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Kelly and husband, Thomas, of Williamsburg, Va., Barbara Guiffre and husband, Joseph, of Herkimer,  Susan Leone, of Baring, Maine, and Dolores Swietlikowski, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Kevin Kelly and wife, Lisa, Justin Kelly and wife, Kristy, Colin Kelly, Joseph Guiffre, Stephen Guiffre and fiancee, Jennifer Carter, James Guiffre, Suzanne Leone, Stephen Leone and Charissa Leone; two grandchildren, Ryan and Amber Kelly; and sister-in-law, Stella Golicki; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Pauline's visitation and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Rob Lupo at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Calais, Maine. A private family burial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
