  • The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) has announced it will now sell its high school state championship admission tickets online.
NYSPHSAA has partnered with TicketLeap, based in Philadelphia, to bring the convenience of online sales to fans looking to attend state  championship events. The agreement is for the next three years between the two organizations and will allow for the majority of NYSPHSAA’s 31 championships to be offered online. This is the first time NYSPHSAA has partnered with an organization to offer its  state championship tickets online.
“TicketLeap is proud to partner with the NYSPHSAA as its Official Ticketing Provider” said Mike Vaughan, Vice President of Business Development  at TicketLeap. “Together, we will provide convenience and accessibility for NYSPHSAA fans, families and friends to purchase tickets online for the first time.”
Tickets can be purchased online at www.nysphsaa.org or by visiting nysphsaa.ticketleap.com.  All major credit cards are accepted for online transactions at both sites. Fans who purchase tickets online will be provided the opportunity to bypass long lines at state tournament venues.
“This is an exciting opportunity for our Association and our fans,” said Nina Van Erk, NYSPHSAA Executive Director.  “Attendance is very  strong at several of our state tournaments each year and using an online ticketing system  will help alleviate the wait for our fans who purchase tickets on-site at our championship venues.”
TicketLeap provides web-based ticketing solutions to venues and event organizers all over the country, enabling them to promote and sell  tickets online, onsite and on-the-go. Consumers can use any major credit or debit card to purchase tickets in person, by phone or online. To learn more, visit www.ticketleap.com.
