  • With spring comes good weather and with good weather comes golf. Whether you’re a beginner or ready to get back into the swing of things before heading out on the course, the Golf Box is a great way for everyone to golf.
Every season is golf season at the Golf Box’s year-round, state-of-the-art golf simulation center that offers two fully upgraded simulators with over 50 major golf courses and a virtual driving range.
“The Golf Box is a great way to keep your body loosened up all year long for golf season,” said John Piseck, Custom Tool and Model Corporation sales engineer.
The Golf Box also offers a practice putting area with four holes to help golfers focus on up-close putting as well as long range.
For those who are just learning or need to brush up on their skills, private golf lessons are available on site from three different PGA professionals.
Training tools are also used within the simulators to help golfers reach their maximum potential, said Piseck.
During the winter months, the Golf Box offers leagues inside for those who enjoy playing the sport all year long.
“We have air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter, no matter what the season, we’re open all year round,” said Piseck.
Since it opened its doors eight years ago Piseck said the Golf Box has been busier than ever.
Dean and Chad Handy, of St. Johnsville, are avid Golf Box players who have utilized the simulator during the long winter months.
“I’ve been playing here once a week this past winter,” said Dean Handy.
Chad Handy added, “It’s nice not having to take a break during the winter months here in central New York.”
For those who enjoy watching golf as well as playing it there are multiple TVs throughout the center with all sports channels.
Cost is $20 for an hour session. Gift certificates are available.
Call ahead and make an appointment for tee times or book the Golf Box for a private office or birthday party. For more information, call 894-3005 or visit the Golf Box’s website at www.golf-box.net or Facebook, or email teetime@golf-box.net
The Golf Box is located at 220 William St. in Frankfort, behind CTM.
