  • Frankfort-Schuyler’s Danielle Migliore scored 10 points in her team’s win Tuesday as the King of Kings women’s league tipped off its 2013 season at Notre Dame High School.
    Migliore, playing for Utica Select, helped her team to a 62-43 win over Ain’t Worried!!! in an opening-night showdown between the league’s last two championship squads. Utica Select raced ahead 11-2 in the first quarter and led 16-2 before the defending champions made a run of their own and closed to within five points at 25-20 late in the first half.
    Tyler Nash, last year’s most valuable player when the team was known as So Appalled, had a big game for Ain’t Worried!!!, a squad that includes Little Falls’ Gen Schoff, the reigning Center State Conference Division II player of the year, and Mohawk’s Christy Traglia, a starting guard at Utica college. Nash scored 26 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, blocked two shots and added four assists and three steals to her stat line.
    Schoff scored four points.
    Utica Select used a three-pointer late in the second quarter to stretch its lead back to eight points then opened a 45-25 lead in the third.
    Earlier in the evening, Upstate Ballers defeated Hard 2 Guard 41-30 and Monstars were 67-49 winners over Rim Rockers.
    Kaylie Shoemaker and Cintia Johnson each scored nine points for Upstate Ballers and dominated the rebounding with 16 and 11, respectively. Raychel Shannon had 12 points, seven rebounds and six steals for Hard 2 Guard, a squad that includes Little Falls’ Allison Dobrovolc.
    Madison Slagle scored 15 points for Monstars. Mohawk Valley Community College standout Stevie Ray and former Fabius-Pompey High School teammate Kirsten Dodge.
